Intuitive Controls
Familiar First Person Controls
Controls are mapped similarly to First person games. Players who are already familiar with the genre will find the controls intuitive.

Automatic Action
Character will need to rev the chainsaw to attack. Player can either rev the chainsaw early to attack after, or simply attack and automatically rev the chainsaw.

Selling the Killer's Character
Swaying Camera Movements and Weight Shifts
The swaying camera movements and weight shifts is used to suggest the character's bulk and size. This is to make the player to feel powerful when controlling the character.

Bobbing of Chainsaw
The fast bobbing of the chainsaw is also used to suggest the character's breathing speed which also hints the kind of excitable character the killer is.

Swinging Camera on Attack
Swinging the camera on attack gives the illusion that the character is putting power in his swing. The rotation of the camera is exaggerated to once again suggest the insane characteristics of the killer.

The Killer's Vision
Shrinking of Peripheral Vision
When the killer spots the victim, his state of mind changes. His peripheral vision shrinks as he focuses his attention in on the victim
Locking on
As the killer locks onto a victim, the player's camera control becomes less responsive and will require more effort from the player to steer the killer's vision away from the victim.
Sound and Visual Effects
Additional Heartbeat SFX and Pulsating effects are introduced to reinforce the excitement of the Killer when he sees a victim.
Chainsaw Feedback
Multiple feedback are used concurrently to reinforce the state of the chainsaw.
